Camp Tiak with the Scouts!

On Saturday, October 15, Hayden, Donna, Patrick and I all drove up to Wiggins, MS to attend Camp Tiak with the Scouts for camping. Donna and Patrick in Blair and Hayden and I in Bart with the camping stuff. It took us a little over an hour to get there. I stayed the night at the campsite with H, while Patrick and Donna came home to sleep in their comfy bed. We had a good time at Camp Tiak. We got up about 7:00 Sunday morning to go have breakfast and then came back to the campsite to break down camp. Our pack leader, Mr. William, invited Hayden and I to go to Waffle House with them so one of the kids(who slept through breakfast at the camp) could eat breakfast. Since H and I had already eaten, we got something to drink and some toast. It was good! Had a great time! Glad to be back home.

Foxy

Well, I have made it home from Michigan. I can't believe I have been home a week and haven't updated my blog. All is going well. We picked up Foxy on Wednesday, October 12. I rode her on the thirteenth. She did well. It was night when I rode her and she didn't spook or anything. I did some walk-halt and trot-walk transitions.

Ready to get home

Well today Toby picked me up from Mr Stu and Mrs Robins, to cone spend the night with them so that we are closer to the airport since Toby is taking me to the airport in the morning, so I can start my journey home! Too excited! Can't wait to get back to see Bacardi!(and Donna and Hayden) as for Patrick I won't see him til Friday because he leaves early in the morning. Can't wait to get back, so I can go back to work and so we can go pick up Foxy and I can start working with her! I'm just too excited! I'm going home tomorrow!

Today the weather has been nice. High 50s-low 60s. This morning Mrs Robin had a doctor appointment, that went well. While she was gone I walked Dudley and Domino(the puppies) around the neighborhood, today,unlike the other day when I walked them, there was a lot of people out walking that wanted to pet the dogs, so they enjoyed the attention. Today I also called Mrs Mimi to see if Foxy is coming to our house for me to work with, to get her ready to be sold. I'm so excited about having her. I get back from Michigan on Monday(I have 4 more days!) and we will pick Foxy up on Wednesday, I'll(try) upload our progress(between college, work and taking Hayden everywhere he needs to go,not sure how well I'll do).
I'm so glad I could come up here to help Heidi's parents, but will also be glad to be back home. I miss the horses, the family and I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss McDonald's! Looking forward to getting back to the South.

Well we just finished dinner. We had Cheeseburgers from Wendys, they were good.
Oh and Donna if you read this, I may be coming home with another puppy. Domino..
